We only had to wait til he was almost 15 months!! He was so far ahead of the game with crawling & pulling up, walking around things, I thought for sure he'd be my earliest walker. Shelby & Jenna were right at a year & Reese was 13 1/2 months. I guess he just figured he was so fast crawling (& he is WAY fast!) that he didn't need to walk yet. It was so frustrating cuz until he walked he could only be in the childcare at the gym for an hour... with an appointment! So annoying. 11 month olds who were walking didn't need appointments, but I had to make them for him!! GRRR. & because I go so often they know him & would question me so I couldn't even try to play dumb & say "I thought he didn't need appointments anymore since he's over a year..." Oh well. I can now go for 2 hours & get my cardio & lift. sweet! Now I just gotta find 2 hours in a row I can spend there... & not hate it. I go because I need to. Still working on the want to. :)
I had him in for his 15 month well visit this week. He is perfect of course. :) Dr. Bill went over everything & he's doing great. Then he read through the 18 month well check questions & we both realized that he's already doing half or better of those things too! Crazy!! I'm excited to watch his development even though I have to have a moment every now & then to say goodbye to another baby thing. It's really hard sometimes to realize that I won't get to have the baby experiences anymore. We are moving on to toddlerhood. I'll just have to snuggle my friends' babies to get my fix, even though, as sweet as they are, it will never be the same... & Then Shelby reminds me that I could be a grandma in about 10 years. It's her favorite thing to tell me when I feel sad about Cooper growing up. She doesn't understand that it just makes me feel even older & cherish these moments even more. I think she likes to see the look on my face when I realize she's right! Almost 11... going on 21!
MAN I love my kids!! Even when they make me crazy!

YOu and I can enjoy toddlerhood together! I am still morning that one too. Aparently its hard no matter when you stop. That is what I have been hearing. Yeah for longer gym time and no appointments. That will make things much easier! Go Cooper!
I am happy he is walking!! He is too stinking cute!! And that comment about you being a Grandma is priceless! Just what you wanna hear huh?
